There are some places in Dubai that just hit different, and Three Cuts is absolutely one of them. Nestled on the rooftop of Nakheel Mall at Palm Jumeirah, this vintage-meets-modern steakhouse with stunning interiors, an even better menu and a side of live music is a new go-to for a Friday night that delivers on every front: food, vibe, and an extra dose of soul to start the weekend.
This past weekend marked our second visit, this time for their Friday Night Live, and if we're being honest, we already know it won’t be the last. There’s something magnetic about the place. Maybe it’s the effortless blend of laid-back elegance, the buzz of cocktails under the stars, or the live music that makes you feel like you're in a prohibition speakeasy, but whatever it is, Three Cuts has absolutely nailed the formula.
Let’s start with the food, because oh, we came to eat.
We started with two absolute knockouts: The Salmon Carpaccio, a delicate dish with light-smoked salmon, dill sour cream, pickled shallots, and a drizzle of dill oil, fresh, creamy, and beautifully balanced. These guys don't have the Middle East's leading salmon smokehouse for nothing. We also had the Beef Tartare, a bold classic with horseradish, Dijon mustard, shallots, and capers that packed just the right punch. It was rich, tangy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

For mains, we kept it light as we missed dessert last time and we were determined not to this time around. We ordered the Organic Pan-Fried Salmon again - it's consistently excellent and easily one of the best we've had in Dubai. Perfectly cooked with crispy skin and paired with roasted baby potatoes, grilled broccolini, a refreshing fennel salad, and a dreamy lemongrass beurre blanc. We also opted for the Black Angus Striploin, imported from Australia with an MB2+ marbling grade, perfectly cooked medium rare and served with a rich peppercorn sauce and a side of triple-cooked fries that were golden, crisp, and irresistibly addictive.
Dessert did not disappoint. We shared the Red Fruit Cheesecake with vanilla ice cream and strawberry coulis, it was light, creamy, just sweet enough. And because we’re not quitters, we also ordered the Sticky Toffee Pudding, with rich caramel sauce, custard cream, and vanilla ice cream. It was indulgent, warm, and worth every calorie.

Although the food is stand out, the drinks menu is creative, unique and perfectly matched to the atmosphere. We ordered the Holy Water again (Frozen Pisco Quebranta with lime leaf extract), it’s dangerously delicious and really brings out the speakeasy feel. We also tried something new with the Mister Maybridge, mango-infused vodka, Honjozo sake, passion fruit, and elderflower. It was smooth, floral, and absolutely exceptional.

But back to the real reason for the evening, the live music, it created the most perfect ambiance, soulful, stylish, and just the right level of energy to carry us into the weekend.
The vibe is soulful, sultry, and perfectly tuned to the energy of the evening. Whether it’s smooth jazz, acoustic soul, or funky covers, the music wraps around the space like velvet, never overpowering, but always present, adding that touch of old school magic that turns dinner into an experience. It’s the kind of soundtrack that makes your cocktail taste better and your conversation flow effortlessly.
If you’re looking for that ideal mix of rooftop glam, next-level dining, and unforgettable vibes, Friday Night Live at Three Cuts is your answer. We came back for seconds and we already know we’ll be back for thirds.
