First-hand reporting with a point of view. A clear verdict. Specifics over adjectives. If your pitch could have been written without leaving the house, it is not for us.

What we do not want

Round-ups assembled from other round-ups. Press-release rewrites. Pieces with no opinion in them.

How to pitch

Send one paragraph on the idea, one on why you are the person to write it, and two links to previous work. Subject line: PITCH — [your idea]. Email hello@theluxjournals.com.

We pay on publication and we commission in British English.
